Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers believes his ability to rotate the team has a positive impact on the health of his players.
Rodgers has a fully fit squad for Saturday's visit to Hibernian after making six changes for last weekend's 5-0 win over Ross County and reversing four for the midweek victory over Aberdeen.
Several substitutes made a major impact and Celtic secured victory in the 78th minute thanks to Reo Hatate's goal.
Rodgers said: “We’re in a really, really good position, and I think that’s part of the rotation as well.
“Sometimes if you don't have the depth and strength in your team, you might have to play players for 90-plus minutes three times a week, playing them all the time, that's what you are at greater risk of injury.
“What we've been able to do is manage players' minutes and where maybe there's been a little problem, then we can take someone out. Or if someone has played a lot more minutes, then we have this opportunity to remove That's the advantage of having a deep team.
“So I really enjoyed that aspect, picking which teams to eliminate and giving some of them the opportunity to have a bit of a breather. It can also depend on what game you're playing and what you want. of the game. This will decide who will play as well.
With a number of fit players, Rodgers has been able to plan his team selections in advance and he will have next Tuesday's Champions League clash with Dinamo Zagreb in mind when choosing who will start against Hibs.
“Look, I’m not going to sit here and say you’re not thinking about the future,” he said. “Of course yes.
“That's the nature of my job. Of course I have to plan ahead. But you always have to consider the next game as your priority.
“You have to be clear about what you're thinking about for the Zagreb game, like I was when we played Ross County before we played Aberdeen. So you have to plan ahead. But that's the exciting part of the job .
“It's absolutely brilliant. I've got a great group of players who are hungry, ambitious and all want to play, which is great. If they don't, they respect whoever's playing. They play. take care of their colleagues and then we are all in to get the result.”
