The worst performers of the session have been EML Funds Ltd (ASX:), which fell 22.22% or 0.20 factors to commerce at 0.70 on the shut. Pointsbet Holdings Ltd. (ASX:) fell 3.90% or 0.04 factors to finish at 0.99 and Resmed Inc DRC (ASX:) fell 0.84% or 0.31 factors to 36.50.
On the Sydney Inventory Trade, rising shares outnumbered falling ones, 718 to 352, with 446 ending unchanged.
The index, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 choices, was up 0.46% at 11.76.
Gold futures for February supply fell 0.06% or 1.70 to $2,643.40 per troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities buying and selling, crude oil for February supply rose 0.50% or 0.35 to $69.81 a barrel, whereas the March Brent oil contract rose 0.45%. or 0.33 to commerce at $72.89 per barrel.
AUD/USD was unchanged 0.13% at 0.63, whereas AUD/JPY rose 0.37% to 98.03.
U.S. greenback index futures rose 0.12% to 107.49.
