SYDNEY (Reuters) – Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers stated on Tuesday he would seek the advice of his opposition counterpart, Angus Taylor, on the composition of the brand new Reserve Financial institution of Australia boards, which might come into impact after the following central financial institution coverage assembly in February.
“The brand new boards is not going to start till after the February assembly. They are going to be in place initially of March, and I’ll seek the advice of the shadow treasurer once more on the composition of those new boards,” Chalmers informed a convention of press.
