Colin Jost is never one to shy away from a hot topic.
Jost, 42, took the stage at the American Museum of Natural History in New York on Thursday, December 6, for the American Museum of Natural History Gala, which includes an auction to raise funds to support educational programming and museum scientist.
In his speech, Jost joked that one of the items up for grabs was “Diddy style freak off” for “you and 300 of your closest friends.”
Jost mocked the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs in recent months. In September, the music mogul was arrested for sex trafficking and racketeering charges. In the bomb 14-page indictmentDiddy was accused of orchestrating “freak offs,” which allegedly “developed and produced sexual performances” that took place in various hotel rooms.
Diddy denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty. He remains in prison after being was denied bail four times. Diddy's trial is scheduled for May 2025.
Diddy's arrest has been a hot topic in the media, particularly on SNL via Jost and his co-host Michael Che during their Weekend Update segment.

In addition to making fun of Diddy during Thursday's event, Jost also made numerous jokes at his expense, including jokes involving his hometown of Staten Island.
“I don't like the fact that in the primate room there's a diorama of old people from Staten Island,” Jost told the audience. “That’s not nice. And they were just two trash bags. Why?… The guys from Staten Island have the scientific name “no homo sapien”.
Jost also poked fun at what it was like to live in New York.
“Living in New York, we've just come to terms with the fact that everyday life is going to be a horrible experience,” he shared. “Everyone bought into that. Didn't you really say to yourself: “Well, three crazy people insulted me in the street today – but! – none of them hit me in the head! »
Jost attended the event with his wife Scarlet Johansson. The couple walked the red carpet together in coordinated sets. Johansson, 39, wore a stunning black V-neck dress, which she teamed with a pearl choker and diamond-encrusted earrings. The actor, for his part, opted for a classic tuxedo with a bow tie.
The museum's fundraising goal was quickly reached. Although Jost's fictional Diddy-themed item wasn't up for grabs, one of the auction items was a dinner under the stars with the famous astrophysicist. Neil deGrasse Tyson.
