When could the Merseyside derby be rearranged?
The new date for Everton v Liverpool will likely depend on whether Arne Slot's side finish in the top eight of the Champions League. They currently top the new table of 36 clubs.
This would guarantee them a place in the round of 16, meaning they would bypass the round of 16 scheduled for 11/12 and 18/19 February 2025.
This would mean the match could be played in midweek before Liverpool return to European competition, with the round of 16 starting on March 4-5 and March 11-12, 2025.
