Fireplace guts Sokoto market, destroys grains value tens of millions

A fireplace on Saturday morning destroyed the favored Kara Grain Market in Sokoto, destroying grains and property value tens of millions of naira.

The fireplace that occurred available in the market destroyed greater than 50 grinding workshops, and plenty of close by houses have been affected.

Though the causes of the fireplace should not but recognized, the accident prompted big monetary losses to these affected, with damages estimated at greater than 50 million naira.

Among the many victims was Glory Matthew Abba, a store proprietor who misplaced his grinding motor value N1.8 million.
