Lacey received three weight courses to win the staff race on the TCNJ Satisfaction Championships hosted in Robbinsville.
Lacey scored 193.5 factors for the staff, putting second in West Essex’s 162 factors. Level Nice Borough positioned third with 127.5 factors.
Brendan Shuler captured the 120-pound title for Lacey with a 1-0 win over West Essex’s Mark Farah. Kyle Leonard received the 150 with an 11-4 choice over Andrew O’Reilly of Robbinsville and Mike Seely defeated George Walsh of Level Boro to win the heavyweight bracket.
The Knights received three brackets behind Benjamin Marquez (157), Nick Bastante (138), and Carmine Massey (175). Level Borough had two champions in Frankie Burgio (132) and Jake Clayton (165). Two-time state and Iowa champion Harvey Ludington received at 190 whereas Brick Memorial teammate Trey Tallmadge captured the title at 215.
Rancocas Valley’s Thiago Maldonado (144), Allentown’s Charles Case (126) and Colts Neck’s Ethan Michaels (113) received titles whereas Vincent Grippa received the 106-pound title for the host Ravens.
