Leicester City will be back in action in the Premier League this weekend against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Ruud van Nistelrooy era started in perfect fashion for the newly promoted side who managed to beat West Ham United 3-1 in midweek.
The new manager made some interesting calls and they worked in his team's favor.
Leicester City have spent most of the season near the relegation zone, but fans are hoping the arrival of a new manager could soon change their fortunes.
Football expert Paul Merson has backed Brighton to beat Leicester this weekend and the result could push the Foxes back into the relegation battle.
They are currently 16th in the league, four points above the relegation zone and a defeat could send them back down the table.
By speaking to SportskeedaMerson backed Brighton to take all three points at the Amex.
He said: “What a phenomenal result for Leicester the other day. How it happened, I don't know! I don't think Brighton are as naive as West Ham.
“With Brighton's passing and movement, I can't see anything other than a win for them here. This victory against West Ham masked the cracks at Leicester.
“Make no mistake, it’s a great result. But it also gives them a false sense of security. Leicester weren't even great, I don't know how they ended up winning 3-1! There is no doubt that Leicester made the most of their luck en route to this victory. “
Merson not only predicted a Brighton win this weekend, but also claimed he believes Leicester City could be relegated.
The expert cited the matches against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest as examples while analyzing Leicester City and their weaknesses.

He added: “The big problem with them is that when they get beaten, they get completely blown away. I just find this trend worrying, it's their problem.
“That was quite evident in the games against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. I'd be shocked if Leicester stayed up, I don't think that's going to happen at all. Taking 20 shots in a game and winning every week is going to be tough. Brighton could tear them apart in this clash.
It is now up to Van Nistelrooy and the Leicester City players to prove Merson wrong and remain in the English elite.
Brighton striker Evan Ferguson linked with move to Leicester City and it could help Van Nistelrooy's side in their relegation battle.
