Lizzo successfully fended off a harassment and discrimination lawsuit filed by her former stylist, Asha Daniels.
Daniels alleged in the lawsuit that she was exposed to a “sexualized, racist and illegal work environment” while working with Lizzo on tour. However, a California court dismissed Lizzo from the lawsuit, noting that Asha did not have standing to sue the singer.
Meanwhile, Lizzo appears to be focusing on herself as she shows off her dramatic weight loss on social media while calling out Ozempic rumors.

Lizzo wins legal victory in harassment lawsuit
According to reports, a California judge has dismissed Lizzo's sexual harassment lawsuit filed against her by her ex-stylist.
In September 2023, Asha Daniels accused the “About Damn Time” singer's management team of fostering a “sexualized, racist and illegal” work environment while she worked for her company Big Grrrl Big Tour.
In the lawsuit, she also claimed she was physically and verbally abused by the star's wardrobe manager, Amanda Nomura, claiming she threw her into a clothes rack where she injured her foot .
However, Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha granted a partial motion to dismiss several of Daniels' claims on the grounds that she was working for Lizzo on tour in Europe and not the United States.

“These allegations do not plausibly establish that any part of Plaintiff's claim arises from work performed in the United States or eligible territories,” Aenlle-Rocha said, according to Page six.
The judge also said Daniels failed to show any evidence that she actually worked overtime for Lizzo, after claiming she was not paid for her overtime.
Although Lizzo was released from the lawsuit, her company Big Grrrl Big Touring remains a defendant.

Lizzo Won't Stop Fighting 'False' Allegations
Lizzo, born Melissa Jefferson, faced a series of lawsuits from several former employees, including three of her ex-backup dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez, who accused her of sexual harassment, great shame and a hostile work environment.
Some of their allegations have since been dismissed by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mark H. Epstein, including Davis' shameful allegations and dancers being forced to be “on hold” when they are not on tour. But the case will still continue.
However, a source recently told New York Post that the “Truth Hurts” singer won't back down in her efforts to fight “false” allegations.

“There's a reason why Lizzo continues to fight long after most public figures have settled — because these allegations are false and cannot be allowed to happen,” the source told the outlet. “She will not stop fighting until every one of these ridiculous slanders is put to rest.”

She has denied all allegations made against her by former employees
Since Lizzo's harassment lawsuit made headlines, fans have been divided, with many shocked that the singer could be accused of such things.
She, however, maintained her innocence despite the accusations, despite being criticized by netizens who claimed her attitude towards her crew was horrible.
In one instance, the singer called the allegations “false,” “unbelievable” and “too scandalous.”
Lizzo also claimed that the former employees had “already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”
The singer returned to her remark about taking a “gap year”
In the heat of her legal controversies, Lizzo released a statement saying she was going to take a “year off” to “protect my peace,” but that no longer appears to be the case.
“Gap year? Girl, who said gap year?” she told Ellie Austin, Fortune's deputy editorial director. “I just worked, worked, worked. You may not see me, but I worked.”
From her recent social media posts, she seems to have been working on her body, as she recently showed off her massive weight loss.
Just after Thanksgiving, the “Cuz I Love You” singer took to TikTok to flaunt the off-the-shoulder fitted dress with orange hibiscus flowers that she wore to host the celebration for her loved ones.

The singer's new body goals haven't been free of controversy, as netizens continue to claim she used Ozempic.
In September, she uploaded a short reel to her Instagram page as she posed wearing a colorful satin dress while her hair was pulled back in a low hairstyle.
Above the video near the bottom, she added the following text: “When you finally receive ozempic allegations after 5 months of bodybuilding and calorie deficit.”
She then shared a screenshot of a social media user's comment accusing her of taking ozempic or “coke”, to which she responded by writing: “Why are you following me ?” followed by four crying face emojis.

In an interview given in March to The New York TimesShe opened up about her weight loss journey and told the outlet that she had “been methodical, losing weight very slowly.”
“I don't really see it because if anyone on a natural weight loss journey knows, losing weight is actually the slowest thing in the world, and you don't really notice it until you don't notice it,” she admitted.
