A person has been arrested by the PSNI on suspicion of sexual assault as US police examine an alleged incident throughout a current Armagh GAA journey to Florida.
The PSNI confirmed on Wednesday that detectives arrested a 30-year-old man on Tuesday on suspicion of sexual assault and inciting an individual to interact in sexual exercise with out their consent.
The person has since been launched on bail pending additional investigation.
A bunch traveled to Miami in November to have fun the group’s All-Eire victory.
In a press release launched by solicitor Patrick Higgins of Donnelly and Wall Solicitors, the barrister confirmed: “My consumer voluntarily offered himself to the PSNI yesterday for questioning.
“He co-operated absolutely with the PSNI from the early levels of the investigation.”
“He’s harmless of all prices and guarantees to do all the pieces in his energy to clear his identify.”
