Man injured in N.J. utility van explosion

An explosion this week inside a piece pickup truck in Ocean County despatched a person to the hospital, authorities stated.

Officers responded at 3:37 p.m. Monday to Gregg Drive in Stafford Township, the place “an explosion occurred inside a plumbing and heating utility truck,” police stated in a press release.

Police stated that preliminary investigations revealed that the accident was unintentional. Police stated the person, whose title has not been launched, suffered unknown accidents.

Stafford Township Emergency Providers and Stafford Township Volunteer Fireplace Division responded to the scene. Police stated a city fireplace inspector was investigating the reason for the explosion.
