Manchester United are among the clubs monitoring highly-rated Southampton winger Tyler Dibling.
It was previously reported that United manager Dan Ashworth is one of the key figures behind the club's pursuit of Dibling's move, having also monitored him consistently when he was at Newcastle.
And according to the latest report from The Sunthe Premier League giants have sent scouts to monitor the young striker.
However, they are not the only team monitoring him, with Aston Villa also keeping tabs on the teenager as well as teams outside of England including Germany and Italy.
While there is strong interest from United, it is stated that any deal is likely to take place this summer as the Saints will not be willing to sell him mid-season as the club is battling potential relegation.
Tyler Dibling: Southampton's emerging star
The 18-year-old has become one of Saints' standout players this season, with manager Russell Martin placing his faith in the youngster and Dibling responding to that trust with consistent performances.
Dibling is a versatile striker, capable of playing in multiple positions, including on the wings and as an attacking midfielder.
The Saints academy product has made 91 appearances across all competitions and levels in his career so far, scoring 20 goals and assisting 13 others.
He has one goal and 2 assists in 15 games in all competitions for the Saints this season. He also played in Southampton's goal against Liverpool in November, winning a controversial penalty for his team.
Difficult series for Southampton
Southampton currently sit 20th in the Premier League with just 5 points from 14 games so far this season. They have only won once (1-0 win against Everton), and drawn two others, while losing the remaining 11.
The upcoming series of meetings will do them no favors. After being beaten 5-1 by Chelsea, they next face Unai Emery's Aston Villa, before hosting Tottenham next weekend, followed by a League Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.
