Minecraft fans are having a great time. After a series of updates, such as Tricky Trials, Bundles of Bravery and the recent The Garden Awakens, Mojang Studios has announced more exciting news. In a video posted to the game's official YouTube channel, the developers talk about a new live event in the blocky world that players can participate in.

Minecraft announces Mojang Office Party live event
In the more than five-minute video, presenter Vi Bui revealed a special live event that will be held at Minecraft. They're calling it the Mojang Office Party and it will be held from December 9 to 20, 2024. During this time, players will be able to visit a fantasy recreation of the game studio's office and explore different parts of it.
Interestingly, the office will also have a mystery. Fans will have to explore the structure and look for clues to figure out what's missing. There are four mini-games and many other fun activities. Players can also collect various stickers from the office. Note that this only concerns the Bedrock edition of the game and not its Java counterpart.
Minecraft developers also seem to be making the blocky game a little scarier. The addition of the pale garden in The Garden Awakens update is proof of this. Aside from the creepy and desaturated appearance of the new world biome, players will find the Creaking mob there. It only appears at night and attacks when visual contact is broken.
Defeating it is also a challenge, as players must search for the Squeaky Heart hidden somewhere in the forest. Normal attacks don't damage the mob, and breaking the heart is the only way to make it disappear. Searching for this item while maintaining eye contact with the spooky crowd will be difficult, and players may be forced to find creative ways to deal with it.
THE Update The Garden Awakens is released and available for download. Players who want to join the Mojang Office Party live event will have to wait until December 9th.
