An Atlantic Metropolis police officer was arrested this week on assault and different costs, the Atlantic Metropolis Police Division introduced Friday.
The division stated it was alerted in regards to the alleged incidents involving Warren Younger, 29, of Brigantine, on Wednesday and launched an investigation.
Younger allegedly pulled a gun throughout one incident, had a pair of scissors throughout an altercation in one other incident, and assaulted a lady on a unique event, in line with a press release from the division.
Younger was charged with two counts of possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an illegal function, aggravated assault, harassment and easy assault, and was transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, police stated.
Younger, who was employed in April 2019, has been suspended with out pay, the division stated.
