Pete Davidson is reportedly facing career challenges after canceling his comedy tour and season 2 of his show “Bupkis,” with insiders alleging he “burned his bridges” in the industry.

The source also claimed that tensions rose when Davidson unexpectedly pulled the plug on “Bupkis” Season 2, even though the series had already been given the green light.

“When Bupkis was scheduled for season 2 and Pete suddenly withdrew, people were furious with him,” they said.

Additionally, several of Davidson's stand-up performances were canceled after he went to rehab in late July, with concerns growing about his behavior following his breakup with Madelyn Cline.

Since leaving rehab, Davidson's team would struggle to regain momentum for his career.

An insider suggested that efforts to encourage the comedian's online presence have failed.

“His team keeps trying to get him to talk on social media, so he kept going, but then he backed off,” they shared. “This guy is really difficult to work with.”

However, another source painted a different picture, highlighting Davidson's focus on his well-being and deliberate approach to work.

When asked about his first splurge, he joked, “'You know what they pay us? It's like three thousand dollars an episode, so I think I've had dinner!'

He explained that with 18 to 22 episodes per season, actors with a similar salary would earn between $54,000 and $66,000 per year.

Additionally, Davidson was last seen dining at a restaurant in Kingsport, Tennessee, on November 5, but has kept a low profile ever since, even on his 31st birthday last week.

Davidson was involved in a reckless driving incident in March 2023 after crashing his Mercedes into a Beverly Hills home.

The comedian reportedly drove around “100 miles per hour” with his then-girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, in the passenger seat. This landed him a misdemeanor charge, which was dismissed on July 18 of this year.

Davidson joked about the incident during his stand-up show in Atlantic City, which was part of his comedy tour, “Pete Davidson: Prehab.”

According to the Daily Mailthe former “SNL” star told his show's audience that when he received a call about the charges being dropped, he responded, “Hooray? I guess.”

Davidson added: “I did something wrong. It's not really something worth celebrating.”
