Indian national cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma had a torrid outing with the bat in the second innings of the ongoing second Test against the Australian national cricket team. The match between the two teams began at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Rohit Sharma, who walked to bat at No. 6, looked shaky with the bat throughout his stay at the crease. It was because the leaders of the Australian national cricket team were right and were swinging the ball at high speed under the lights with the crowd also behind them.
Rohit Sharma also survived a maiden chance and he was expected to take that and save the Indian national cricket team from trouble. However, that was not the case, the team captain was back at the shelter early as the visitors were under enormous pressure.
Rohit Sharma was run out by Australian captain Pat Cummins, who produced a jaffa to send the batter packing. The pacer bowled a delivery which was heading towards a good length. The Indian captain tried to defend it with the back foot.
The ball went past the ball and went on to hit the top of off stump and send Indian national cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma packing. The Australian captain was bowled out as he attempted to field just before the stumps worked.

Rohit Sharma struggled to get going with the bat in two innings in Adelaide
Sharma struggled to get going with the bat and scored 6 runs off 16 balls. The batter, even in the first innings, looked scorching as he scored 3 runs off 23 balls. His place in the team was also examined as in the last 6 matches he scored 142 runs at 11.83 in 6 test matches this season.
Rohit pushed himself down the order so as not to disrupt the opening combination between KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The duo batted brilliantly in the Perth Test and helped India win the match by a huge margin of 295 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
