SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korean investigators once more requested the nation’s interim president on Saturday to order presidential safety providers to adjust to an arrest warrant for ousted President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Safety providers, together with navy troops, on Friday blocked prosecutors from arresting Yoon Suk Yeol throughout a six-hour standoff inside Yoon’s compound. Investigators obtained the arrest warrant for Yoon following his transient declaration of martial legislation final month.
