A second man (30) has been arrested in Dublin in reference to the assault of two off-duty gardaí in Dublin over the weekend, which left one in a crucial situation.
He’s being detained at a Garda station within the Dublin space below part 4 of the Legal Justice Act 1984.
The person (30) who was arrested on Saturday 14 December in reference to the incident stays in custody.
Two off-duty male members of An Garda Síochána had been injured in an assault in Dublin within the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred round 1.30am on Saturday morning, on the junction of Dame St and Eustace St, Dublin 2.
Each gardaí had been injured within the assault.
