Shares moved largely sideways Thursday afternoon, with the three main indexes little modified.
The Dow Jones Industrial Common was flat, whereas the S&P 500 fell 0.1% and the Nasdaq Composite edged down 0.1%.
It’s value noting that buying and selling volumes had been quieter than regular on Thursday because the inventory market reopened after the Christmas vacation.
