UnitedHealthcare CEO Shot Dead in New York: The Latest on the Murder

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot to death in New York on Wednesday on his way to the company's annual investor day. The company, the insurance branch of UnitedHealth Groupcanceled the meeting.

The New York Police Department quickly informed the public that the killing was a targeted hit and that a nationwide manhunt is underway. On Friday, law enforcement confirmed to Fox News that the suspected killer had left New York.
