The USA has struck IS camps and militants in Syria, as Washington tries to forestall the terrorist group from rebuilding within the nation after the autumn of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
US precision airstrikes in former regime and Russian-controlled areas of Syria have killed 12 IS terrorists, US Central Command introduced on Monday.
A U.S. mission is underway “to disrupt, degrade and defeat ISIS, by stopping the terrorist group from conducting exterior operations and to make sure that ISIS doesn’t search alternatives to reconstitute itself in central Syria,” Centcom stated .
Washington and its regional companions is not going to let ISIS “benefit from the present scenario in Syria,” Basic Michael Erik Kurilla stated.
