Activists The Ojodu Squad of the Ogun State Police Command has arrested a veterinarian named David Tom for allegedly committing theft and stealing property price N24 million.
Spokesman of the state police command, CSP Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the arrest on Saturday, mentioned the physician was arrested after committing theft on December 29, 2024, from a residence situated at River View Property, Isheri Olofin.
Odutola mentioned: “The safety guard at River View Property, Isheri Olofin, reported that on December 29, 2024, at about 9:30 am, he was knowledgeable by the top of the property, Abayomi Akindele, that unknown robbers broke into the residence of Captain Anyanwu Emmanuel.
“The house owner later grew to become suspicious of a person referred to as Tom David, his veterinary assistant, to whom he had entrusted the gate key. This association was made to permit David to take care of the remaining safety canines within the complicated whereas the proprietor traveled to the village.
“Nevertheless, on December 28, 2024, the suspect knowledgeable the house owner that upon arriving on the complicated round 9:45 a.m., he found that the house had been burglarized by unknown individuals.
